My nature is a problem solver, which is why I naturally gravitated towards the profession of “Project Management”. One VP said I was like a bull in a china cabinet but I can get results and push things over the finish line. However, in today’s world the expectation is that every employee have some critical thinking skills and yet that seems to be a skills gap that is harder and harder to find.
This discussion is focused on this gap in today's workforce. With 4 generations reviewing their definition of Critical Thinking it comes to light that this is not just a "millennial" issue, this is something that has been encountered in every generation.

I think this is a verrrry hard one for me. Apparently, there is value to not being an open book. I never really thought about the fact that it is not a trait that people admire. On the contrary, I kind of have prided myself about being one to NOT play games so this is totallly new way of thinking.
I have known people that automatically “hold their cards close to their chest” and honestly it has been annoying to me. I like open books and I don’t like people I can’t read. So this new approach to things is really mindblowing.

THE FULL JUDGMENT: Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. If they have no clue what you are up to, they cannot prepare a defense. Guide them far enough down the wrong paths, envelop them in enough smoke, and by the time they realize your intentions, it will be too late.

I like the phrase "with friends like that, who needs enemies?". I think we mix up friendships with our assumptions and expectations and that can lead to disaster. Instead, Rober Greene says, look for enemies to become allies because basically you know who they are and what they are about. Another point of discussion is how this law applies when sometimes "enemies" are mindsets, family traits or illnesses.

But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies.
